Dale and Cynthia Erickson bought The Alaska Commercial Company branch at Tanana in 1986. The Alaska Commercial Company was originally Northern Commercial Company and prior to that was Tanana Commercial Co. in the 1800’s. Operating as a general store it provides basic groceries, minimum hardware, gas and oil. Store hours are M-F 10-6 and Saturday 11-5, closed Sundays
The United States post office is also located in the same building.
